Hi-fi suite in a hotel: our hospitality install in Cefalù
Five junior suites, one control room. Angstrom Ambienti in-ceiling speakers + dedicated streaming sources. The story behind the project.
The client: a fifteen-room boutique hotel on the Cefalù coast, undergoing conservative restoration. The brief: equip five junior suites with a refined yet absolutely discreet audio system, manageable from a single technical control point.
The technical solution
For each suite, a pair of Angstrom Ambienti AKF 6.5C in-ceiling — DuPont Kevlar drivers, frameless, invisible integration. Source: a dedicated network streamer per room with access to Tidal and Spotify Connect, controlled via the hotel app. Cabling: all in new conduits, certified audio-grade.
What we learned
Architectural integration is half the project: the four ceiling cuts require planning with the site manager well before painting. The acoustic performance of the Ambienti, once installed, surprised the client: guests often ask "but where are the speakers?". That, to us, is the right compliment.
